Surrey Enterprise Hub company grows 80% for 2nd yr running

                                                                       E-zine issue 1
Remote backup, recovery and archive company Thinking SAFE™ has announced year on year growth of 80%, for the second year running. Managing Director Ed Jones commented, "Our organic growth over the past few years has validated our business model of delivering software to enterprise customers and managed service providers, and managed service to our mid-tier clients. With the current international turmoil and question marks about climate change, companies are now taking disaster recovery much more seriously. We are confident that we have the solutions to help our growing list of clients achieve their business availability targets."

Typical of the calibre of international client attracted by Thinking SAFE™ service is leading global flooring specialist, Amtico International. Amtico has chosen Thinking SAFE™ to provide a cost effective data backup and recovery solution for company representatives working worldwide.

Founded in Coventry in 1964, the company created and defined the luxury flooring market and now trades in North America, Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and Australia. A spokesman at Amtico International explained, "IT security, and in particular data recovery, is getting more important by the day. We chose Thinking SAFE’s service to provide backup and recovery for the remote laptops used by our residential and commercial reps internationally."

"Thinking SAFE’s solution enables us to backup all of our data very quickly, with fast recovery from anywhere in the world. Administration time is low, it was easy to rollout remotely across our worldwide sites and it is a well priced, well supported solution."

Thinking SAFE™ stores clients’ data in high-availability datacentres, managed by centrally controlled policies. This allows for easy administration across a large area with a small IT team, while the central management console ensures control and visibility of all the company backups.

Ed Jones commented, "Business development data has huge value for companies like Amtico. Our policy-based processes are set so that they can meet their tightening IT service delivery requirements whilst containing costs. We encrypt the data to ensure maximum security of this sensitive information and our service uses a solid infrastructure that our clients can rely on. Our clients are coming to us for a variety of reasons. For some like Amtico, being able to outsource a specific IT function such as backup, means that they don’t need to become experts in the field or build out infrastructure to manage it - that is our job. Others like Tenon Group came to us as they have a large dispersed company with a central IT staff. Our solution gives them the control they need over their backups and we ensure they have a disaster recovery position for their data regardless of the remote office location. These are capabilities that are world leading."

Surrey Enterprise Hub Director Mike Lunch said, "Thinking Safe is a company to watch as they have grown a strong customer base in the professional services market place - where data security is of paramount importance."

The Thinking SAFE™ service delivers backup, recovery and archive solutions to solve today's biggest data availability challenges including securing mobile data, reducing backup windows, reducing loss of changed data, delivering faster recovery times for critical data, and implementing long term archiving.

Thinking SAFE™ works with a host of blue chip customers, including GB Airways, National Express, Tenon Group, Menzies and Cripps Harries Hall LLP.
