HUB News: Community Quality
Portsmouth-based company, Territory Mapping, has become the first CIC (community interest company) to join the 50,000 UK businesses that have gained IS0 9001:2000 certification.
The company, a Solent Enterprise Hub client, is dedicated to providing professional training, consultancy and coaching to the third sector: charities, social enterprises and voluntary service or voluntary community organisations. The ISO 9001 certification mark is a well-known means of identifying organisations that meet and maintain high standards, ensuring competent staff, an appropriate environment for their activities and an assured continuous quality control programme.
Managing Director Paul Cooper said, “We’re delighted to have achieved ISO9001. This makes a positive statement to our customers about our commitment towards quality and the importance we place on meeting our customers’ needs.”
