Grow Enterprise Bid A Success
The Enterprise Hub Network recently made a successful bid for European Funding for a project called GROW Enterprise.
The Grow Enterprise project started in January 2006 and will run for two years.
It involves three partner regions from Spain, Poland, and the Netherlands, in addition to the South East. The project aims to create a collaborative network and partnerships of Enterprise Hubs, business incubators and other business support organisations, which will result in:
- enterprise managers and economic development partners being more effective in their support of business and better able to inform policy;
- sustainable growth of high technology businesses in partner regions through exchange of know-how and through international contacts.
Greg Ward, Head of Enterprise, commented, “This new project will improve Enterprise Hub Directors’ ability to help their companies and provide fresh ideas and business opportunities for many of the region’s new technology-based companies.”
