Kiro and new process
Despite technology developments in the textiles industries, IT still uses labour intensive manufacturing methods, resulting in high production costs, high levels of wastage and heavy energy use. A new process developed by eastbourne HUB CLIENT Kiro Ltd will allow manufacturers to produce textiles products at lower cost, opening the market for designer items at top end high street prices.
The new process will enable designers to work in an entirely new way, which has the potential to create new cutting edge commercial designs. In the next 10-12 months Kiro will develop the process and look forward to offering licences to manufacturers to use the process. Looking further ahead Kiro™ will develop its branded fashion and soft furnishing collection solely based on the new process.
