ABC Sounding Land & Clear

Leading UK Loudspeaker manufacturer, Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) have chosen Sittingbourne Enterprise Hub client ABC Environmental for the treatment of volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions from their production facility.

B&W make some of the world’s most advanced home cinema, hi-fi and MP3 player speakers. The high quality of B&W’s products is reflected in their working practices, and they demand equally high standards from their suppliers. They were delighted when the new system from ABC Environmental was independently monitored by the Paint Research Association (PRA) and found to be comfortably achieving their compliance emission limit.

B&W Production Manager Dave Ford said, "It was a relief when the system passed the monitoring test."

"Cost-effectiveness, quality and simplicity are the three key criteria during the design and build process" said Richard Ambrose, Director of ABC Environmental. "The system is fully automated, so that the requirement for B&W staff to commit time to operation and maintenance is minimal."

Sittingbourne Enterprise Hub Director John Dodd said, "The Hub has been able to help with sales and marketing, and with access to its networks like the H-I corporate network. 2008 will be an important year for ABC Environmental, with the increasing importance of environmental technologies."
