INNOVATIONS - TENNIS JEANNIE ROLLS OUT VIRTUAL CLUBS
Tennis Jeannie is a tournament organiser and PA for tennis players. Not only does Tennis Jeannie organise tournaments it also organises players to ensure that matches are played. Players inform Jeannie as to when they can play matches. Since Jeannie knows the availability of the other players in the tournament it is able to schedule matches at mutually convenient dates and times.
Supported by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and backed by a £30,000 Catalyst loan from Finance South East, Jeannie Ltd are now launching the “virtual club” concept nationwide.
Thames Valley Enterprise Hub Manager Tracey Sanderson said, “Tennis Jeannie already have a successful and established business, but the virtual club network is a really innovative idea that will give them a competitive advantage.”
