LinQ secures funding for sales and marketing push
LinQ, a spin-out business from the University of Portsmouth which has developed with help and support from the Solent Enterprise Hub, has been awarded a £30,000 catalyst loan by Finance South East to help the company boost marketing and sales.

SenTAG afloat with Catalyst loan
SenTAG Ltd, a Newbury based business whose products help to prevent people from drowning or being seriously injured in swimming pool accidents, has been awarded a catalyst loan of £30,000 by Finance South East with the support of the Thames Valley Hub.  The loan will enable SenTAG to take its products to overseas markets and continue its product development work with Metra, an RFID specialist.

Airbus and Rolls Royce contracts enable ETCEL to go from strength to strength
Enabling Technologies Consulting Engineers Ltd (ETCEL), a client of the Isle of Wight Enterprise Hub based at the Innovation Centre in Newport, has been awarded three major contracts worth over half a million Euros.  Against stiff competition, ETCEL was awarded the contracts because of their technical excellence and capabilities in structural design and analysis.

GeoSolveIT secures two year Department for Transport contract
Surrey-based GeoSolveIT, a geographic information systems consultancy and a member of the Surrey Enterprise Hub network, has been awarded a two year contract by the Department for Transport (DfT) to update the National Origin-Destination Survey Databank database and associated website which is used by transport planners throughout the country.  The website – http://www.dft.gov.uk/odsdatabank/ – provides a complete and comprehensive picture of where information on the origin-destination surveys (ODS) has been collected in Great Britain.
